This week's question:

"Many of us primarily read one genre of books, with others sprinkled in. If authors stopped writing that genre, what genre would you start reading? Or would you give up reading completely if you couldn’t read that genre anymore?"

At the moment YA (paranormal, contemporary, (urban) fantasy, historical) is my favorite genre. If authors would stop writing this now, I think I'd completely have to switch to chick lit. A few years ago this actually was my favorite genre, so the change wouldn't be too bad. But I have to admit that I'd really miss YA books; I think there's something special about them. :)

This week's question:

"What are you most looking forward to this fall/autumn season – A particular book release? Halloween? The leaves changing color? Cooler temperatures? A vacation?"

Well, first of all it seems like all the good books are going to be released during the next two or three months. Just think of all the awesome September releases (e.g. Lola and the Boy Next Door, The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer, Daughter of Smoke and Bone (which you can win on my blog) and soooo much more). 

Then it will also be my birthday on October 23rd and this year I will turn 20, which would be a very good occasion to celebrate it a bit more than usually.

I'm also looking forward to the cooler temperatures and the fact that this will give me a good excuse to spend some money on new clothes. I just love shopping with my best friends and the fall colors are always sooo pretty. ;)

Hm, as far as I can remember, the longest book I've ever read is the German version of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix with 1021 pages.

This week's question:

"What’s the ONE GENRE that you wish you could get into, but just can’t?"

Until one or two years ago it actually was the paranormal / fantasy genre that I just didn't like. And even though I'm no longer a fan of Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series, I have to thank her and her vampires for making me get into it. :)

Today I'd say that the one genre I can't get into is crime / thriller. I have a friend who loves this kind of novels, but whenever I try to read a book that she liked a lot, I just can't finish them.
